The TRS208H is powered by a Cummins 4BT3.9 turbocharged diesel engine rated at 75 kW. Its high power reserve is designed to maintain operating capability in conditions above 4,000 meters altitude, making the roller suitable for high-altitude road construction.
The TRS208H uses full hydraulic travel with rear-wheel drive and continuously variable transmission. This allows travel speed to be adjusted continuously during operation, giving the operator better control over machine movement across different working conditions.
The front drum uses hydraulic vibration with two amplitude settings, allowing the compaction effect to be adjusted according to different material and working requirements. This gives the roller greater flexibility than a fixed-amplitude vibration system.
The full-hydraulic articulated steering system with front-wheel steering makes the machine easier to maneuver during roadwork. The articulated frame also supports flexible positioning when working along curves and confined sections.
A dedicated drive axle for road rollers is matched with an air-conditioned cab featuring UV-resistant glass and rollover-protection structure. Together, these configurations provide a purpose-built chassis layout and a more enclosed operating environment for extended roadwork.
