Smart Handling for faster everyday material movement
The FT30 is designed around frequent loading, stacking and repositioning tasks. Its Smart Handling system gives operators three operating modes: Shovel Mode automatically retracts the boom while lowering the loading system, Batch Mode coordinates boom movement for vertical handling, and Manual Mode leaves direct control to the operator while maintaining overload protection.
40 km/h travel keeps the machine moving between work areas
The FT30 combines a continuously variable drive with electronically controlled travel, allowing smooth acceleration from standstill to up to 40 km/h without power interruption from manual gear changes. For yards, warehouses, construction sites and material-handling operations where the machine repeatedly travels between loading and unloading points, this reduces unnecessary travel time.
A 7 m boom without sacrificing day-to-day maneuverability
Its two-stage 7 m boom provides useful reach for routine loading and stacking while keeping the machine practical for everyday site movement. Four-wheel drive and three steering configurations give the operator different ways to approach pallets, trucks and confined working areas.
Smooth cylinder control protects the machine during repetitive cycles
End-position damping is built into the lifting, tilting and telescopic cylinders. By absorbing movement as the cylinders approach their end positions, the system helps reduce hydraulic pressure peaks and unnecessary shocks during repeated boom operations.
Attachment flexibility makes one machine useful for more jobs
A hydraulic quick coupler and three-function valve allow the FT30 to work with different compatible attachments. This gives buyers looking for a versatile telehandler a practical platform for more than conventional fork handling.
